My Little Hunter

Check out the boy's new Coon Skin Cap. He doesn't like wearing it much yet. Uncle Jace gave it him. Duck, Buck, Goose!

Jail Time

Branson hates to be locked out of the kitchen. He sits up and shakes the gate. I tell him NO and he will get the saddest face and start his fake cry. What a little brat!

Halloween 08

Brittney sure loves all the Holidays. She tries really hard to get me excited about them. She has not had much success. I must admit that this year she really picked a good costume for the boy. He is a monkey. Brittney was a Corpses Bride! She was pretty scary looking! I was an Ogre, at least that is what Brittney said. I didn't even have to dress up.

It has been awhile!

It has been awhile since we updated our blog. I will get some new pictures of the boy up soon. All is well. Branson just got over his pneumonia and is doing good. Of course I have been hunting as much as I can and Brittney stays busy with the kid. Everything is going great and we are looking forward to the holiday season. I hope everyone is doing well. Take Care

First Swing Ride

He is getting to have a lot of first experiences. Brittney and I are loving seeing him experience all this new and cool stuff. Here is the first swing ride. He loves it. It is going to be hard to scare this kid.

Branson's First day of Preschool

Preschool has started again and Branson gets to go with Mom while she teaches. Doesn't he look like he is having fun.

Branson Hangin with Bear

Branson and Bear are going to be good buddies. Bear already sleeps in by his crib. It will be neat to watch their relationship develop.

Brittney Takes Branson for His First Horse Ride

Branson got to go on his first horse ride on Earl Tucker. This is Brittney's horse up in Wyoming. He also got to hang out on Cub and Smokey. What a lucky kid. In a few years from now he won't have to stay home with Mom and can come scout for elk with Dad.

Mowing the Lawn

The boy is helping mow the lawn. It was a good time. He was asleep by the end of it.

Catchin' Fish on Bear River

We went out to Olivia's to fish on the Bear River. We caught some trout and one sucker. Branson Loved watching us reel the fish in, I think he will be alright when he grows up. Seems to like right stuff.

Branson's First Camp Out

We took Branson on his first camping trip last Friday night. We went to the Chadwick-Taylor reunion up Greys River. He surprised us with how well he did. It was hard to get him to sleep during the day for all the stuff that was going on. Brittney packed plenty of stuff for him as you will see in the pictures. I really think he had a great time. I know we did.

Watermelon on the Rock!

Last Saturday a bunch of us went up to the rock where Grandpa Smith used to take his family on the 4th of July. We ate watermelon and played around. It was a good trip. We should do it every year.

Branson got a lot of cool stuff from our friends in England.

First Fourth of July

Branson loved the fireworks!! Look how warm Momma has him dressed. Everyone else is in t-shirts.

Eating baby food

Branson has started eating baby food now. He likes to make a real mess. He likes the vegetables better than the fruit.

In England Again

I had to come to England again for work. The progress has been really slow and I don't much care for being away from my family. One bonus was I got to go see my God daughter Lexus and her little brother Owen. I had not seen him before. It was great to see John and Sharon again along with some of their family. I hope someday they can come to the USA to visit us.

I will also be missing Britney's birthday on the 1st of July. I know she is not happy about that . So if you see the blog before or on the 1st, call to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

CHEERS FROM THE UK

I can't get a photo to upload so I will do it later.

Branson's First Motor Cycle ride

Branson went on his first motorcycle ride up in Star Valley. Momma was pretty worried. The boy didn't know what to think.

IT has been awhile.

We have not updated our blog for awhile. Not a whole lot has been happening other then work. We went up to stay in Star Valley one weekend. It was a lot of fun shooting squirrels and catching fish. We went on a short four wheeler and motorcycle ride because the snow had not melted yet up there. Branson is growing fast and it is a joy to play with him each day. My Dad and I went with Landon to Flaming Gorge last week to do some fishing. I will post some pictures. Brittney has done some new wood crafts for the front of our house. They look pretty cool.

Everything is going good. We will have to update the blog more often.

Dad's laker is 10 lbs.

Landon's laker is 25 lbs.

Branson's Blessing

We had Branson's Blessing on Sunday. He did great we were both very proud of him. Brittney sure had fun putting him in his little white Tux. Poor kid had to wear a monkey suit this early in life. There were a lot of friends and family that showed up. It doubled the size of our ward. The dinner afterwards was excellent. Our parents are the greatest. They always make sure things turn out good.

Thank you to everyone that came to support us. We really love that all of our family and friends are so good to us.

Baby Pet Day in Logan

Oh what great fun!! We had a great time at the Heritage Center in Logan for the Baby animal days. Branson did not know how much fun he was missing as he slept most of the day. I had a blast carrying him around and trying to keep the sun off of his little face. Brittney had a great time and loved all the baby animals. Next year will probably be a bunch more fun when Branson will be checking everything out. It was good to spend the day with my Mom and Dad. Lisa and Laradene were also there with the kids.

Next year I vote we go try and catch some baby fish to pet!!

Steel Head and Birthday Party

It was a good weekend. My Dad and I went to Stanley ID to fish for Steel head. We were a little early so the fishing was not that great, but the trip was. It is beautiful in that country. You should go if you have never been. I also love to hear the stories Dad tells about him and his family fishing up there each summer for king salmon. Each stretch of river is filled with new stories.

Brittney and Branson went to Star Valley to spend the weekend with her family. Her Dad's birthday is coming up soon so they celebrated it. She said they had a fun time. I will see if she has any photos to post.

Branson is still growing and started laughing the other day. Kids are fun!

April 1 April Fool's Day

After seeing Lacey and Kyle's blog, I thought it would be fun to start one of our own. This will be nice for those of you live else where to keep up with our doings.

The most exciting thing that has happened lately is the birth of our son Branson Kerry Smith on Jan. 9th. He weighed 7 lbs. 7oz and was 20.5 inches long. What a cool experience it is to have your own child. It has been a bit of a rough start when he did not gain weight as he should have. We had to feed him through a tube to get enough down him. That seemed to work and we removed the tube about 10 days ago. He seems to be doing great. Yesterday he was up to 8 lbs. 8 oz. We are very happy with this growth. We have been a little stressed.

Fishing is starting to get better. Dad and I are going steelhead fishing this weekend. I will put some pictures of our success on here.

We are planning on blessing Branson on the 20th of April. Hope everyone can be there.
