Family and the new boy

Here are some photos of the family with the newest addition. We look forward to everyone else getting to see our boy.

Grandma Smith got to hold him first. One benefit of working nights. In fact she was there shortly after both of our boys being born.

Bridger Dean Smith

The long awaited arrival finally came at 12:12 am on 10/08/2009. He weighed 7 lbs and was 20 inches long. Everything went good and both mom and baby are doing fine. Brittney said this one was easier then the last. Guess she is getting to be a pro. (she only had to push for 10 minutes)

We are very excited about our new boy. Branson is still getting use to him, but is starting to come around. I can not wait to see them play together when they are older.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

Sand hill Crane Hunt

I had never hunted a sand hill crane before, so I gave it a try. They are pretty cool birds.

Brittney is pretty bummed about all the hunting and fishing she is missing. Can't wait till next year when i get my partner back out there with me.

2009 Archery hunt

The archery hunt this year was a success. It happened almost two fast. We hunted two days and called in Six bulls. We shot these two from the same set up. They died two hundred yards apart. It was cool but a lot of work. Congrats Dad on your first archery elk. (make sure and ask him about the big one he missed at twenty yards)

It is good to be done early, so I can be home to help Brittney. It is getting close, the doctor said it could be any time, but wants it to go at least three more weeks.

Branson Found his Bull for the Year

This one aught to be easy to get this fall. The Boy loved it. He was jabbering for 1/2 hour after we left. I have no idea what he was saying, but the attempt to bugle and make cow calls pointed to it being about the elk.

Fourth of July

We went to watch the fireworks in Logan. Glow in the dark things are cool!

Father's Day Fun

Brittney got Branson and I shirts for Fathers Day. Aren't they cute!

We had a good time up in Star Valley and then came home to have some fun.

In Star Valley we headed down to Palisades with the Chadwick clan for some fishing in the boat and motorcycle riding. It was good fun until the rain came. We saw lightning hit within 100 yard of Suzie's truck on the way home. It was scary, but cool.

On Sunday we headed over to the Smith homestead for some dinner and fun.

A Week at Grandpa and Grandma Chadwicks

Branson and I went to Star Valley for a week while Braydon is away. We had so much fun. Branson loved playing with his Uncles Michael and Jace and Aunt Jessie and Cousin Devan. Grandpa nicknamed the babies Lewis and Clark. They had to explore the whole house together. They enjoyed making messes and watching their moms clean it up:) They never stopped going. We also had fun petting the horses, playing with the dogs, and talking to Grandpa and Grandma.
Hopefully they'll let us come back:)

Lewis and Clark still exploring:)

Branson loved to show Devan his books. He would sit and read to
her it was the cutest thing!!!

Aunt Jessie built Lewis and Clark a fort to see if we could protect
the rest of the house:) They loved it!!!

Branson loved to feed Grandpa's fish. He would laugh when the fish would splash him.
He sure loved the 4wheeler he was always tring to get
someone to take him for a ride.

Branson sure loved Grandma's baby goose. But I don't know if the goose liked him:)

A Fun Day At Bear World!!!

Branson and I went with Grandma Chadwick, Aunt Jessie, and Cousin Devan to Bear world for a day. We had so much fun getting to see all the new babies out. Branson and his Cousin Devan thought the bears were dogs and would start yelling "doggy" every time one walked past our truck. What cute kids:)

Branson's favorite part of the day was feeding the fish and the ducks. He's such a Daddy's Boy!!! He also loved to throw rocks in the creek!!!

Branson with Mommy
and the deer. He didn't
know what to think. What a Cute Bunch!!!

Branson wouldn't dare touch the grumpy pig.

He sure loved the week old goats.

Looking at the cubs. The babies were sure wore out!!!
